anyway...i'm gonna go now. must find my phone and then get you food before you starve and fade away to nothing. :] see you soonish! x xoxo nora is now offline Nora Lockwood shut down her laptop and then stood up, looking around her room. She needed to find where she had left her phone before she went anywhere. Strolling over to her wardrobe, she changed into a different shirt, leaving her jeans as they were. She fixed up her hair a bit, just because it had gotten a little too messy to go out in public with. She then put on some shoes, grabbed her purse and started searching around her room, trying to find her phone. "Where could it be?" she muttered to herself as she looked everywhere. She sighed and then walked out of her room, looking in the kitchen and the lounge room. She couldn't find it. Nora groaned, pacing around the lounge room before her eyes stopped on the couch. She walked over and felt between the cushions. "Ah ha!" she pulled out her phone and smiled. It still had more than half a battery left. Good. But there weren't any messages or missed calls. She walked over to the cupboard, taking out a bag of doritos before grabbing her keys. She then headed out the door towards her car.
Pulling up at Subway, Nora hopped out and headed inside. What did Braydon say he wanted again? she thought, as she waited in line. She remembered writing it down on a piece of paper so she checked her pockets, taking out a folded piece of paper. Ham and cheese footlong, white bread. When it was her turn to order, she ordered Braydon's and then her own. As soon as it was ready she then headed back to her car and made her way to Nick's bar. Nora hadn't eaten for a while, so she was pretty hungry as she quickly headed off to the bar. She smiled at her conversation with Braydon and how she told him he had better look productive when she arrived, otherwise he was in trouble. She'd have to have a word with her sister for not having a very hard-working boyfriend.
Nick's bar came into view and Nora pulled up, parking her car once more. She picked up the bag with hers and Braydon's subway in and also the bag of doritos as she then made her way to the doors. She moved them both to one hand as she then took her phone out of her pocket. Nora was going to send a message to her sister to let her know that Nora no longer approves of her video-game-playing-not-hard-working boyfriend. Of course, it was all joking. She wasn't actually going to send the message, but it'd be fun to say she did if he wasn't busy being productive. She walked over and sat down on a stool, setting the food down on the bench. "Braydon...i have subway...and doritos!" she said, smiling.

Great. Just great. Nora had logged off of the IM before the male even had a chance to reply. And now, she would be on her way soon. After allowing a heavy sigh surpass his lips, the figure exited the IM window and leaned against the counter. It was unfortunate that work had been exceptionally slow today - which had been the reason why Braydon logged onto IM at the front desk computer. On the brightside, though, he had managed to convince Nora not only to accompany him here at work, but to go out and grab a Subway sandwich. No matter what she said, he was going to pay back for both meals. It was the least he could do. But right now, he had to figure out what he was going to do. Concern still lingered in his mind, so he took a few long strides and disappeared into the back-room.
Braydon grabbed his backpack off a shelf, then pulled out his dead cell phone and its charger. He then proceeded to plug his phone in before placing it down on a lower shelf. Now what was he supposed to do? He needed to look like he was getting his paycheck's worth before Nora arrived. Fortunately, a few plates hit the floor and broke in the background. Upon this disruption, it was not difficult to miss the profanities that escaped the male's father. So Bray's immediate reaction was to run out of the back-room to help clean up the mess. As a few employees helped his father calm down and return to the kitchen, the male threw out the large pieces of the broken plates before moving on to sweep and mop up the customer's meals. Turning towards the rather annoyed customers, he apologized,"I'm terribly sorry. I will get your orders out and personally bring them out myself." With that, he turned on his heel and left to throw the broken plates out to the dumpster.
A few minutes later, the figure returned and immediately walked into the kitchen to confirm that the family was going to get their food quickly. In the distance the bell above the front door rang, notifying the employees there was yet another customer to be waited upon. Before anyone else could, Bray emerged from the kitchen to greet whoever had just walked in. Oh psshhh, it was just Nora. He walked up and sat on the stool next to her before replying with,"Hey, I'll be back in a moment. I have to wait on the family over in the corner booth." Funny how things became busy just before Nora's arrival. This brought a goofy smirk upon his lips while he approached his customers - assuring them he would bring out their meals momentarily.
Quickly, Braydon entered the kitchen once more and moved to the sink to douse his hands in warm water with anit-bacterial soap. After drying his hands, he took the family's order and carefully exited the kitchen. "Here you are. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience; I hope you enjoy!" Bray placed the plates down on the table before leaving his customers to their meal. Now, he could have his own food with Nora.
"Sorry about that, there was an incident right after you logged off IM. Now, on to eating the Subway sandwich and Doritos!!" he exclaimed while he sat once more on the stool next to the female. A bright fire danced in his crystal green eyes knowing that he was only moments away from having a fantastic meal. Subway, to Braydon, was heaven. Best damn sandwiches in the world.

Braydon Everett was one person that Nora truly respected. He had helped her twin sister, Peyton, out a lot when she really needed it. Peyton had always been Nora's best friend...they were twin sister afterall. If you hated your twin...that was just crazy, in Nora's opinion. They were always there for each other, just like twins should be. They talked about practically, if not, everything. But unlike Nora, Peyton had a boyfriend she could also share with things. Braydon was a good boyfriend for Peyton, which was why Nora loved him too; though she loved him in the 'you're my twins awesome boyfriend and my close friend' kind of way. But because Peyton had a boyfriend and Nora didn't, Peyton was obsessed with the idea that Nora get one. Ok, maybe not obsessed, but she did keep telling Nora to find someone.
Nora smiled as she saw that Braydon was being the busy little bee she had wanted him to be when she showed up. It was good. It meant that he listened to her and was doing his job. But it also ruined her fun at the same time. It meant she couldn't tell Peyton on him for being lazy at work. Not that Peyton would care, most likely ... but still! When Braydon came over to her she smirked at him. "Yeah sure Bray, go do your job slacker." she teased as he walked away. Because he was Pey's boyfriend, he almost felt like a brother to Nora. It was nice. Of course, she already had a brother ... a little brother. Tyler. He was alright as far as younger brothers go. As she patiently waited for Braydon do serve the customers, she took out both of their subway sandwiches. She placed Braydon's sandwich and the doritos on the bench in front of the empty stool beside her.
Nora turned her head just in time to see Braydon sit down beside her. She smirked at his words. "Don't worry Bray. I told you that you'd better be busy ... and you were! You're off the hook. Lucky." she said in mock disappointment. It meant she had no reason to flick his ear, like she said she would if she saw him not working. And she couldn't just do it for the sake of doing it ... she wasn't that mean ... especially to Braydon. He was just too adorable. She took her subway sandwich out and looked at him. “So how are you Bray?” she asked before taking a bite of her subway.
